- Mr. Subramanian “Subbu” Annaswamy, CISA, CCSK, CAMS, CSQA, is a seasoned Technology Risk Executive with more than 25 years of experience across all three lines of defense at leading global financial institutions, including BNY Mellon, Wells Fargo, Morgan Stanley, and Goldman Sachs. Throughout his career, Subbu has led enterprise-wide risk transformation initiatives and strengthened risk and control frameworks across cybersecurity, operational resilience, cloud computing, data management, third-party risk, and emerging artificial intelligence capabilities. As Head of Technology Risk and Cyber Risk Governance at State Street, he leads the independent review and challenge of technology and cyber risks. His remit also includes governance of emerging technologies, including AI and digital innovation, helping ensure these capabilities are adopted responsibly, securely, and in alignment with the organization’s risk appetite.
